Eight-board word puzzle

Octordle Solver & Strategy Tools

Octordle doubles down on Quordle's format: eight five-letter boards, all fed by the same set of guesses, with thirteen total guesses to solve every word. It's one of the most demanding daily word puzzles precisely because the bookkeeping alone — tracking eight independent feedback grids — is a real task before you even think about vocabulary.

WordCue's multi-board tracker was built with exactly this problem in mind. Enter each guess once, record the feedback for all eight boards, and the tool filters each board's candidate list independently and instantly, all locally in your browser with no account required.

Use the solver below to work through today's Octordle, or read the strategy page for how to sequence guesses so you don't run out of attempts with boards still open.

01

Why eight boards is a different problem than four

Quordle gives you roughly two guesses per board on average; Octordle gives you closer to 1.6. That tighter ratio means early guesses matter even more — a guess that doesn't teach you new letters across multiple boards is effectively a wasted opportunity in a format this tight.

02

Tracking eight boards without losing your place

The WordCue tracker lays out separate feedback grids so you can log results board by board without cross-contaminating what you know about each one. As boards resolve down to single candidates, the tool highlights them so you can spend a guess closing them out immediately.
